2023 Louisiana Bowhunter Film Contest

We are excited to bring the first annual Louisiana Bowhunter Film Contest.  Our expectation for contest entries are creative and entertaining films and storylines that highlight the "Louisiana Bowhunter".  While we hope to see lots of Louisiana storylines, we understand many people who identify as a Louisiana Bowhunter also hunt in other states, and those hunts are part of your season story.  Below is a basic guide to contest rules and regulations and how to enter your film in our contest... 

GENERAL RULES/REGULATIONS

  • 1080p resoution minimum
  • Any illegal or unethical activities portrayed in the film will result in automatic dismissal from the contest
  • ALL legal methods of archery hunting are accepted into the contest.... compound, traditional, and crossbow hunting
  • Videos should not exceed 20 minutes in total length
  • Use of any copyrighted music will result in automatic dismissal from the contest
  • High fence hunting will not be allowed in judging of the contest
  • Louisiana hunting is encouraged, but not necessarily mandatory. 
  • Contest judging will be tallied by a 4 point system, 3 judges and a popular vote from louisianabowhunter.com and social media polling
  • Contest winner will receive a Whiteail Gear Bundle from SKRE Gear, a Buzzard Roost Saddle Kit, and a LABH Gear Pack
  • Contest runner-up will receive a LABH Gear Pack
  • Contest submissions are due by midnight on March 31st.  Online voting will be April 1 and 2 and we will announce a winner on April 3rd

HOW TO SUBMIT A VIDEO INTO OUR CONTEST

To submit a video for entry into our contest, please email info@louisianabowhunter.com and provide the following information

  NAME
  PRIMARY CONTACT INFO
  TOWN/PARISH
  TITLE OF FILM
  VIDEO FILE OR LINK TO DELIVERY SERVICE (Google DRIVE , DropBox)

It is likely you will need to use a large file delivery service to get your video file to use.  If you need any help please contact us.
Following submission, you will receive a media release waiver that gives us permission to use your video on the LABH YouTube and social media accounts, You must sign and return that waiver in order for your submission to be entered into the contest.
