Louisiana Bowhunter was established in 2015 out of personal necessity. A passion for bow hunting, the quality of Louisiana’s whitetail herd, and mostly for my fellow hunters fueled the desire to start LABH. You’ll quickly find out that this isn’t your ordinary hunting company. I began this endeavor to make a difference; in the quality of our deer herd, the enjoyment of our hunts, and the lives of our fellow outdoorsmen and women.
LABH strives to provide quality resources and product information in one place. Our promise is to bring you scientific, factual, and educational information. We want to educate and inform the hunters in our state and nation so that we can all enjoy the best possible hunting scenarios that will create memories to last a lifetime.
At LABH we want nothing more than to be able to say we made a difference. We are here to share in your successes, and failures; to congratulate and motivate, to listen, to learn, to understand, and most of all to give.
Giving is the absolute best way to enrich someone’s life. LABH focuses on giving back. We focus our efforts on finding ways to encourage time in the outdoors, teach living with a Christ-like attitude, and loving your fellow hunters in a time when this world is so full of hate.
My name is Justin Lanclos, and I am the founder of LABH. I have served to represent multiple trusted brands and rep groups in the outdoor industry dating back to 2009; Hudalla Associates, Bear Archery, Trophy Ridge, Slick Trick, Hot Shot Archery, Scent Blocker, Easton Archery, Spypoint, and onXmaps. I have also served as president and am a founding member of the SWLA Branch for the Quality Deer Management Associations. I grew up hunting with my Dad and Popa on mostly public land in the southwestern piney woods of Louisiana and the marsh of St. Mary Parish. I am married to the love of my life Rebecca, and have 3 amazing children- Carter, Isabella, and Jackson. It’s my desire to grow as a bow hunter, Christian, and member of this great state as we share this obsession we know as bow season. Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have. I’ll be glad to help any way I can.
In the Spring of 2016 Kyler Moppert of Baton Rouge, LA joined the LABH team as my partner. He became Sales and Brand Manager. He has taken us to places that would have otherwise taken years or may have been impossible without him. His value is immeasurable to this company. His quick wit, gift of gab and overall likability made him the easy choice to take the lead on developing mutually beneficial relationships with our local shops while enabling us to grow in directions not previously thought of. He is married to his wife Elise and they have a baby on the way. Kyler has proven successful on public and private land and is determined to land his first buck with traditional equipment in 2017.
